Istanbul – A pathway and a reminder

Three countries in two days. 36 hours from the time we left our beds in Copenhagen and the time we got into bed again, at our hostel in Hanoi. In between those cities, a stop at Istanbul – Two continents at our sight – Europe on once side of the water, Asia on the other.

The colorful Istanbul of burning sun, railways 🚃, mosques, ruins, bazares and beautiful esmeralda water. I’ve heard many times, about Istanbul being the doorway between two continents -Hearing that is one thing; being there is far more beautiful.

There’s a certain magic about borders. Having one foot on one land and the other foot on another one – or seeing two continents at once. The magic has less to do with the borders itself (or getting across them) than with the awakening effect. Uncovering the truth of the ‘oneness’ – the division caused by imaginary lines…
This beautiful world is a unity. ONE! 🌏 The same way all the creatures living within it are one… the world is becoming a better place, as more and more people are realizing this elemental true. We are one with Gaia and she is one with us. So, let’s love her and take good care of her, the way she takes care of us! Namaste 🙏🏼
